Signa: Math Puzzle

Privacy Policy

Effective and last updated:

The short version: Signa has no player accounts. Your level progress, settings, stars, and hint balance are stored locally on your device. We use Firebase services to understand app performance and stability, Google AdMob to provide rewarded and interstitial ads, and Apple StoreKit on iOS or Google Play Billing on Android to process in-app purchases. MNP does not sell your personal data for money.

1. Who we are and what this policy covers

Signa: Math Puzzle (the "App") is published by Mustafa Nuri Pekdemir, trading as MNP ("MNP," "we," "us," or "our"). This policy explains how information is handled when you use the App or contact Signa Support.

The App does not require an account, profile, name, email address, or phone number to play. This website does not use analytics, advertising trackers, cookies, or external fonts. If you contact us by email, your email provider and ours process that communication under their own terms.

2. Information we process

Information stored locally on your device

The App stores gameplay progress and preferences on your device, including completed levels, stars, settings, sound and music preferences, hint balance, tutorial state, and purchase entitlement status. We do not operate an account system or cloud progress-sync service for this data.

Information processed automatically

Depending on your device, region, app version, privacy settings, and consent choices, the App and its service providers may process the following:

Category Examples Main purpose
App activity App launches, session events, broad gameplay and feature interactions, ad impressions or interactions Operate and improve the App, understand feature use, measure ad delivery
Device and network information Device model, operating system and app version, language, time zone, country or approximate region, connectivity, IP address processed by providers Compatibility, security, regional configuration, analytics, and ad delivery
Identifiers App-instance identifiers, vendor identifiers, ad request or session identifiers, and consent signals Analytics, fraud prevention, frequency control, and ad measurement
Diagnostics Crash logs, performance data, launch or hang diagnostics, and technical error details Find crashes, fix bugs, and improve stability
Purchase information Product identifier, transaction confirmation, purchase and restore status, and Pro entitlement Deliver hints or Pro benefits and restore eligible purchases
Consent and privacy choices Consent status and advertising preference signals Respect your choices and comply with privacy requirements

We do not receive your full payment card number or your Apple or Google account password. Apple processes iOS payments and Google Play processes Android payments. The exact information collected by Google and Apple can change with their SDKs, your settings, and their policies.

After StoreKit verifies a transaction, Signa sends Firebase Analytics a limited iap_result event only after local delivery succeeds or if that verified delivery fails. Its custom parameters are limited to the product identifier, success or delivery_error, and the known purchase or restore source. Signa does not put a receipt, transaction ID, price, currency, payment details, or a user or device ID in these custom parameters. Canceled, pending, unverified, and purchase-start or store errors are not logged by this event.

On Android, eligible Google Play purchase results use the same limited delivery event. Firebase Analytics also associates events with its app-instance identifier and processes automatic session and device information. Leaving identifiers out of our custom event parameters does not make those events anonymous. Signa disables Firebase Analytics advertising storage, advertising user-data use, and advertising personalization signals; these Analytics settings are separate from AdMob advertising choices.

Information you choose to provide

If you contact support, we receive the information in your message, such as your email address, device details, level number, screenshots, screen recordings, and any other information you choose to send. Please do not send sensitive personal information that is unnecessary for your request.

3. How and why we use information

We use the information described above to:

  • provide gameplay, save local progress, deliver hints, and remember settings;
  • process purchase results and provide or restore eligible Pro features;
  • deliver rewarded and interstitial advertising and limit invalid or excessive ad activity;
  • measure app usage in aggregate, test configuration changes, and improve levels and features;
  • diagnose crashes, protect the App from abuse or fraud, and maintain security;
  • answer support requests and communicate about a reported issue; and
  • meet legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, or enforcement obligations.

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on: performance of our contract with you to provide the App and purchases; our legitimate interests in operating, securing, supporting, and improving the App; your consent for advertising processing where requested; and compliance with legal obligations. You may withdraw consent through the App's privacy options where offered, or through your device settings. Withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out lawfully.

4. Service providers and third parties

We use the following providers, which may process information on our behalf or under their own policies:

We require service providers that receive user data to provide the same or an equivalent level of protection described in this policy and required by applicable law.

We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect users or our rights, investigate abuse, complete a business reorganization, or act with your direction or consent. Any successor would remain subject to this policy for the information it receives unless you are notified otherwise.

5. Advertising, consent, and privacy choices

Signa may show interstitial ads between appropriate gameplay moments and optional rewarded ads that grant an in-game benefit, such as one hint, after successful completion. Availability is not guaranteed.

Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) checks advertising consent and presents applicable privacy messages. Advertising starts only after that flow completes and the SDK reports that ads may be requested. Personalized, non-personalized, or limited ad serving depends on your region, consent, device settings, app version, and the available advertising configuration. You can revisit available choices through the App's Privacy Options.

On iOS, Signa disables Google’s publisher first-party (same-app) identifier before starting the advertising SDK. This setting does not disable every advertising identifier or replace your consent and ATT choices. It does not apply to Android.

On iOS, Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission is separate from regional advertising consent. An ATT request may appear through Google's consent flow when the relevant message is configured and your device can show it. Your permission is required before accessing the advertising identifier (IDFA) or tracking you across other companies' apps and websites for personalized advertising or advertising measurement. Refusing ATT does not prevent you from playing. Where regional consent allows, ads can still be served without IDFA. A privacy prompt or permission does not guarantee an available ad.

MNP does not sell personal information for money. Some laws may define the use of third-party identifiers for personalized or cross-context advertising as "sharing," "targeted advertising," or a "sale" even when no money is exchanged. Use the privacy choice or opt-out controls made available in the App and your device settings, or contact us for help.

Choosing non-personalized ads or refusing tracking does not necessarily remove advertising. Pro removes automatic interstitial ads. Optional rewarded ads remain available when you deliberately choose to watch one for an in-game reward. Limited purchase verification and essential service processing may continue.

6. Storage, retention, and deletion

Local gameplay data

Local progress, settings, stars, and hints remain on your device until changed, reset by the App, or removed by deleting the App or its data. Because there is no Signa account or cloud progress system, we generally cannot recover or remotely delete this local data for you.

Analytics, advertising, and diagnostics

Google and Apple retain information according to their product settings, legal requirements, and retention policies. We keep information accessible to us only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes in this policy, including trend analysis, security, dispute resolution, and legal compliance, then delete or aggregate it where practical.

Support communications

We retain support emails for as long as needed to answer your request, maintain a record of the resolution, prevent abuse, or meet legal requirements. You may ask us to delete a support conversation, subject to legal or security exceptions.

How to delete or limit data

  • Delete the App to remove its locally stored gameplay data from that device.
  • Use Privacy Options in the App where available to change advertising consent.
  • Use your device privacy settings to reset permissions or manage device-level advertising choices.
  • Contact us to request access to or deletion of information we can reasonably identify and control.

Removing local app data may also remove unused consumable hint balances. Restore recovers eligible Pro access with the original store account; it does not recreate consumed hint purchases or transfer purchases between Apple and Google accounts.

7. International data transfers

MNP and our service providers may process information in Türkiye, the United States, the European Economic Area, and other countries where they operate. These countries may have different data-protection rules from your country. Where required, providers use recognized safeguards such as adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses, or equivalent transfer mechanisms. See the provider policies linked above for more detail.

8. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or information about our processing, and to withdraw consent or appeal a decision. You may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.

To make a request, email us using the address below and describe the request and your region. Because Signa has no accounts and most gameplay data stays only on your device, we may not be able to identify data as belonging to you. We may ask for reasonable verification and will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.

9. Children's privacy

Signa is a general-audience puzzle game and is not specifically directed to children. We do not knowingly request names, contact details, or player accounts from children. Advertising and consent handling may be adjusted based on the App Store age rating, region, device settings, and applicable law.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child sent us personal information, contact us so we can investigate and delete information we control where appropriate. Users who cannot legally consent to these terms should use the App only with permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian.

10. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect information, and we limit the data we request directly. No device, transmission, or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the App, its service providers, or legal requirements change. We will post the revised policy here and update the date above. If changes are material, we may also provide an in-app notice or request renewed consent where required.
