These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the mobile game Chesshape ("the App"), published by its independent developer ("we", "us"). By downloading or playing the App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and play the App on Android or iOS devices that you own or control, for your own non-commercial entertainment. All rights not expressly granted remain with us.
The free version shows third-party advertising (Google AdMob), including optional rewarded ads that grant in-game hints. Ad content is provided by ad networks, not by us. See our Privacy Policy for details on data used for ads.
The App offers the following optional products through Apple App Store or Google Play:
premium_no_ads is a non-consumable purchase that enables
Premium and removes ads. Its first eligible original purchase includes a
one-time bonus of 25 hints. Restoring Premium is supported, but a fresh
restore does not issue that one-time bonus again.hints_3, hints_10, hints_50 and
hints_100 are consumable hint packs.There are no subscriptions. The store controls and displays the final localized price, currency and applicable taxes before confirmation; the price shown by the store governs. Purchases are also subject to that store's terms.
Premium can be restored through the same store account. Stores do not restore consumed hint packs across devices or reinstalls, and Chesshape has no account/server that can recreate them. A remaining local hint balance may reappear only if the operating system happens to restore the App's local data, which is not guaranteed. Refund and revocation requests are decided and processed by Apple or Google. This client-only release has no authoritative server reconciliation, so the App may not receive, detect or reflect that change promptly or at all; consumed hints cannot be reliably clawed back. Nothing here limits non-waivable consumer rights.
A pending or interrupted purchase is not delivered until the applicable store reports it as completed.
Premium may be restored only with the same store account on the platform where it was purchased. Apple App Store and Google Play entitlements are separate; a purchase made through one cannot be restored through the other.

You agree not to: reverse-engineer, decompile or modify the App except where the law expressly permits; use cheats, bots or exploits; interfere with the App's advertising mechanisms; or use the App in any unlawful way.
The App — including its code, levels, puzzles, artwork, mascot, name, logo, music and sounds — is protected by copyright and other laws and is owned by the developer or its licensors. These Terms give you no right to use the Chesshape name or assets outside the App.
We may update, change or discontinue the App (or any feature) at any time. Updates may be required for continued play. We aim to preserve player progress across updates but cannot guarantee it in every technical circumstance.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or loss of data or progress, arising from your use of the App. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that consumer law grants you and that cannot be waived.
These Terms apply for as long as you use the App. We may terminate the license if you materially breach these Terms. You can end the agreement at any time by uninstalling the App.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence.
We may revise these Terms from time to time; the effective date above will be updated. Continued use of the App after a change means you accept the revised Terms.
